York west Neighbourhood policing - Update

This week, the York West neighbourhood policing team has been actively tackling crime and supporting community safety across the area.

Drug Enforcement ; Two misuse of drugs act warrants were executed, resulting in the arrests of individuals on suspicion with intent to supply and other drugs related offences. All have been released pending further investigations

Commercial burglaries and theft : Investigations have been and continue to be going on in relation to three commercial burglaries at Lidl, Thanet road and Top cut barbers, Moorcroft road. These investigations and joint working with ourselves and our response colleagues has led to an individual being arrested. This individual has been released on bail while we continue our investigations.

 Our team continues to work closely with the community, local businesses and partner agencies to address local priorities and bring offenders to justice.
